Portable devices

I just wanted to make a small post about games and portable devices...

The first one that I ever had was a gameboy coulor and I really had the time of my life with it and I wouldn't mind playing pokémon or legend o zelda again... But then I tried the PS portable and honestly, what a load of crap! Yes it is fun to have a Playstation that can go wherever you go but, it doesn't give you that PS feeling...

For me it was a huge mistake that the Playstation company made that product because, once again, they tried to mix things up... The games that are usually have available to play are games that have great visual effects and sound that provide a better game experience. So, when you play PS3 you want to do it in front of a huge flat HD plasma screen and large speakers. Portable devices do not have any of that...

Let’s compare it to Nintendo DS, Android or any other portable device. The games you see there are small apps or games that don't have big environments to move around. You can see all the details because there aren't that many. The ones you have are right in front of your nose.

But in Playstation Portable you also have first person shooters and adventure games where you need to be able to see what is around you. So tell me... HOW AM I GOING TO SHOOT A  PIXEL?!

Anyways... I'm not saying Playstation should get it out of the market; sports and racing games seem to work pretty well. And the problem is that the public knows what it wants, but it doesn't know what is possible to achieve! They might want to play a game while they're clapping their hands and walking on the ceiling but, even though they can make it possible, it's going to be a crappy as hell.

So the idea you should keep from this post is to try to give people a full experience, not just half of it and if the public asks for it don't try to get ahead of the problem.
