Modding and Open source

There is no perfect game... I mean, there could be one of its genre but, there is not a single game that will satisfy every persons taste. Solution?! Give people the tools to make their own!

Resistance and Liberation

Resistance and Liberation, version beta 1.6, is an Half-Life 2 mod. It was created by former 506th realism Unit members that wished to bring players a more realistic, world war 2, team-play based game experience.

RaidCall

Alright... People in gaming communities usually have a server in TeamSpeak or any other chat channel creator software and most of those are under a license and you have to pay to own your own server... But I have good news for you. Raidcall is HERE! And it's free... You would suppose that s free software of this kind would not be that great but let me tell you that Raidcall has everything you would ask and, at least for me, is even more user friendly than Teamspeak.

Gaming Communities

When it comes to making games, there's nothing better than a team of friends which you can count on.
An online community is different than your childhood friends but if you belong in one, you'll know there's a goal, purpose or subject that gathers you all together.

3D Game Software

I'm going to tell you on this post which software you would need to make a 3D game by yourself and I will regard the costs too...

Portable devices

I just wanted to make a small post about games and portable devices...

The first one that I ever had was a gameboy coulor and I really had the time of my life with it and I wouldn't mind playing pokémon or legend o zelda again... But then I tried the PS portable and honestly, what a load of crap! Yes it is fun to have a Playstation that can go wherever you go but, it doesn't give you that PS feeling...

GODLIKE

I think a lot of people agrees with me when I say that there's a trend, nowadays, to make things easier for the common john doe. There's microwaves, robot vaccum cleaners and selfcleaning windows... I like the idea of getting a hot plate in 5 minutes but this idea should NOT apply to games.

Games are getting way too easy!

Dos and don'ts in making a game...

In some of my other posts I've been complaining about what others have done wrong in their games and what they should have done to improve them instead... Now I'm going to try and give you an idea, in general, of what you should do to be sure that your game will be successful.
